Evaluation

Feedback for my products changed the out come of my whole project, from the way it looks and the structure which i did everything. The feedback was crucial and was very necessary because i need to make what the people want and what the people would like to buy and what the target audience would be most interested in because if they are not interested I would not be doing a good job.

My Posters were good but had no clear writing or text that which artist was on the poster or which artists were on the poster so that was part of my client feedback which I did ASAP. The changes were simple but extremely necessary if i wanted to help promote the artist and the song to its full potential. My Focus group said the poster with both the artist was really good cause it was promoting everything not just the artists which was my aim any way

When i showed my merchandising to the client the feedback i got was to make a few slight changes, like making the shirts advertise both the song and the artist which will both promote the genre itself as well. The feedback i got from my focus group was that it needed to be more items which was also unisex so i made caps, hoodies and t shirts which were both male and female, they also said the same thing as my client that i needed to not only advertise the artists i needed to promote the song just as must as well which will make it look some what more professional that what it looked like before. So i put the artist and the song on the front and the genre on the back which will catch peoples eyes as they walk past or walk behind them.
My featured article was about the two artists talking to a magazine, talking about how they worked well as a team and to promote the song as well to try and get everyone to buy it even if the don't like the genre itself you just might like this song since its not like every other dubstep song. So the magazine article would be a bigger success if it gets into top magazine so the majority will see this article and at least look and listen to the song if they are going to download. The client and focus group feed back was the same i needed to add pictures of the artists so the audience will know who the artists are and give them some type of insight on who the artist actually is.

Feedback

The ideas of the posters are good, that they give the audience a choice between having the actual poster or have their preferred artist on the poster.
The posters aren't extremely creative they could do with a bit more work, besides that everything is clear and is well put together.
The overall idea for the posters are good that you thought about if the audience would rather have just Dr.P or just Example, I think the single poster are better than the double poster because it looks more professional.

merchandising

My ideas for merchandising was to make items of clothing. because it is the best way to merchandise in this specific genre. T-shirts, caps and hoodies are going to be the main items in the merchandising. On the front of the T-shirts is the name of the two Djs and the back says I Heart/Love Dubstep. This will meet both target audience which like  both example and Dr.P and those which like just Dubstep. The Caps say I Heart/Love Dirty Filthy Drops, The average dubstep fan will love the song for the type of drop it has, the dirtier the better. The hoodie says I Heart/Love Example & Doctor P, the back says I Heart/Love Dirty Filthy Drops. The target audience will have the choice wheither they want which text on the front or back or if the just one of the text on either the front or back. There is eveidence i created it myself it you can still see where i was making it on the site. I put it throught Paint and Photoshop. There is copyright which is the names of the artists and the text on the clothing.
 Male T shirts.
 Unisex caps
 Unisex Hoodies
Female T shirt

Example is a famous Dj/Singer/Rapper hes been around the charts every so often. He has been top of the charts before for his singles and his albums. He is quite successful in what he does musical. Example has been an artist for about 4-5 years, so he doesn’t need to much promotion when he makes a song because hes already quite famous. Doctor P is not as well known as example so for him to remix one of his well known songs and make a good remix of it  and have Example release the song is all the promotion for the song necessary  this remix of the song got Doctor P quite a lot of recognition which also helped him promote himself , Doctor P is still a underground producer he has found the mainstream yet so he remixes mainstream songs to get people to notice his talent and techniques

Identify Product
__________________________________________________________________________________
I could use two of the UK dubstep magazine Get Darker and K mag, and  can also use the radio to help with the promotion and the best raido presenter/ dj would be Mary Anne Hobbs this will reach out to both types of audiences people that read magazines / surf the web. I can contact Mary Anne Hobbs by her website or her facebook page, if i was to put the song on her page it would

Describe aims of a new campaign
__________________________________________________________________________________
The product I am trying to promote is a song by Example which is remixed by Dr.P which is called last man standing. The original song is a pop song and the remix is dubstep, dubstep isnt as famous as pop and the majority would listen to pop rather than dubstep so i need to promote this song so it will be listened by people who wouldnt normally listen to dubstep.
Tv Promotion will be useful to promote the song just short adverts of the album, and get the artist on a talk show. We will have promotions in the music store about the new up coming album. This will be published in most music magazines but will be focused in K mag and Get darker. There will also be a website to help with the promotion. There will also be single/s released to help with the promotion of the album. There will be adverts for it on other music download site.

Review current situation
__________________________________________________________________________________
Dubstep is a new genre in the cases of mainstream music it is mainly played in parties, clubs and nightclubs around the world. Recently dubstep as a genre it has become a very popular genre of music. There are a few famous artist in the Dubstep sence such as Nero, Benga, Skrillex, Chase and Status Dr. P and DeadMau5 play Dubstep. Slowly Dubstep is creeping in to the mainstream of music, more and more artists and albums are entering the charts. There quite alot of events for the genre such as UKF Bass Culture, Fabric and Orange Fridays.

Identify Target audience
__________________________________________________________________________________
The target audience for my song/album is 16 year olds to young adults. Dubstep is a  nightclub night life music and most people who go out to these types of events  are between 16 to 24 but the majority will be over 18s. The target audience for this product are likely to go these types of  events and music festivals of the same genre, since everyone is young they will all use facebook, and use youtube quite often so these would be the best place to go to advertise for my product.

Identify the potential market( Niche, Local, National and Global)
__________________________________________________________________________________
The potential market for my product would be Global/Worldwide because it will be able to be downloaded on line as a MP3. A few dubstep artists have toured worldwide for example Skrillex, Benga Camo & Krooked and chase and status have been to countries all over the world but mainly over the UK and USA so the dubstep genre is not so underground anymore so it has self promotion. Since the market for my product is worldwide already wont have to worry as much about people listening to my product and since its worldwide i can also make a profit.

Describe Advertisements and Promotion
__________________________________________________________________________________
Dubstep is advertised nightclubs, social networking sites radio and YouTube. Dubstep is slowly growing from the underground genre sense to the Mainstream,  Dubstep is promoted is by the DJ's and the internet. The Dj's who  play Dubstep at parties, clubs and events will play songs from many different artists. For example people who go to music events like Fabric, Bass Culture, V fest, Glastonbery and Creamfeilds heard a few Dubstep songs which would have been play at the beginning introducing them to the genre, by doing this it helps promotes the artist if the audience takes interest in the the genre, they became famous by playing in night clubs cause they music has been heard at other events so then they release an album. I am also going to use and dj on radio one to help with the promotion. Mary Anne Hobbs is a late night dj on Radio 1 so she can help me promote the song because the music she plays is garage dubstep drum and bass hip hop/grime and electro. i can contact by emailing her or reaching her on her facebook.

the debt

The film genre could be argued to be either an action movie or a thriller, because the trailer has action clips and also gives loads of enigmas to leave the audience wandering what could happen or what is happening. The enigmas keep the film a thriller, cause it keeps you wondering. The certification for this film is a 15 probably because of the mild language and the violence

At the beginning of the trailer the first thing that you see is the production companies Focus Features and Miramax. The second thing is the palm trees in the sunlight which the colours are all warm yellows and oranges, the sun is in the background which gives the warm summery feeling. Already from the beginning of the trailer the music is more gloomy and building tension, the next part is of 3 people walking off a military plane so this is already giving an enigma to where have they just come from and what they did why they are returning A woman with a Russian accent says “We should never forget how young they were“ , then its an immediate cut scene to they 3 people who were getting off the plane. The Russian woman is in a conference/presentation for these 3 people and as she is in the conference she says “ these 3 dared to confront an unimaginable evil the it cuts to a book with Nazi in it so this tells us that it is during the 1940s and these three were part of an organization called the Mossad, Since this film is about the Mossad the target audience would be the older generation which new about the Mossad organization The first bit of action from this trailer is when the female agent shows she can fight as well as she pins down one of the other agents, so the film is aimed at the female as well as the males.. Then the other agents says welcome to the mission so the confirms that they are agents of some sort. It then flashes to a lot of different shots like an agent popping his collar to be more incognito. Now the Russian woman who is in the conference is now acting as the narrator. The next scene is of the agent pretending to be a patient for this sick doctor as she wait for him she slightly takes several pictures of him. There is also part of it where they show a bit of romance between two of the agents. Then the first dialogue from the female agent is I’m not brave I’m terrified in response to the male agent saying it’s a brave thing your doing. Then cuts to the two agents kissing and then cuts to the female agent wait to be operated on by the twisted doctor, it then cuts to show the agent getting a needle to capture the twisted doctor and waiting for him to get closer so she can get him then there is 3 sequenced cuts showing how she get the doctor. The next series of shot is of the agents escaping from a Camp it looks like, near the end of the trailer there is a sequence of text and scene the text says Every secret, Comes with a price so this also leaves another enigma what are the secrets and what is the price they have to pay. At the end of the trailer they promote their film by saying academy award winner Helen Mirren then it cuts to the actress it shows the other leading actors/ actress and cuts to them so the audience will know who they are and then they show academy award nominee Tom Wilkinson and after it says From academy award nominated director at the end they show the title of the film and then the list of the actors in the film.

The American poster the this film is jam packed with the text about the film. Leaving very little space free Out of all the other poster all over the world the American poster is more colourful than the other posters although it is packed. On the other hand the British film poster is not as packed as the American one and it less colourful and it’s a but duller than the rest of the poster of this film, you can almost tell its and American movie just by looking at the different posters cause the american one is trying to sell it were the other highlight different thing, like the French there focus on the movie is Rachel Singer. The
American posters like to have a lot of information in them, and this poster includes a small image of where the film is set. The British poster simply has pictures , the name of the film, release date, names of the actors/actresses, the names of the production company and the film's certification. The American poster has a different bottom picture, this could give a different impression of what the genre is for the film, because of the clear view of the gun, rather than a thriller.

The stars of the film ususally go on shows that represent the target audience of the film. Jessica Chastain went on BBC Breakfast to talk about the film, and Helen Mirren went on The Jonathon Ross Show on ITV. Helen Mirren was on The Jonathon Ross Show because Jonathon Ross's wife was one of the writers fir the film.

The film premiered at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival in September 2010. Miramax originally announced plans to release the film in the United States on December 29 2010 and it quickly began to appear on lists of possible 2011 Oscar contenders. Before the official December 29, 2010, U.S. premiere, it was shown December 4, 2010, as part of the Washington DC Jewish Film Festival

The Facebook site for The Debt has interviews pictures links videos and reviews for other sites. The face book site for the debt has 95 likes. The reason this might be so low is that the film is aimed at middle aged people, and they aren't on Facebook. The UK site has a lot less likes than the American site, the american face book site has 22,870 likes. The American Facebook site has similar content to the English face book site.

Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 aka BF3  is a first-person shooter action video game, being developed by EA Digital and to be published by Electronic Arts. The game is set to be released on October 25, 2011 on Microsoft WindowsPlayStation 3Xbox 360. It is a direct sequel to 2005's Battlefield 2, but the eleventh installment in theBattlefield franchise. Battlefield 3 will feature the combined arms battles that made the series popular across single-player, co-operative and multiplayer modes. It will bring back several game modes absent from the Bad Company games, including fighter jets, the prone position and 64-player battles on PC.

The game case will be in the original xbox 360 game case. A light green case which is about the size of a folded A4 piece of paper. The cover for the official xbox case will be of one man, a Solider in front 2 tanks on both sides of him there will be a city in the far distance. The main colour are all greys, blacks, white and orange. The inside will have the same as every other game cause but it will have the manual just like all the other games but it will have leaflets for the pre ordered version which will give them the extras such as the maps guns and gadgets. The content for the Pre-ordered game and the actual game is that you get a bit more that just buying from a shop so this encourages the target audience and anyone who want the game to pre-order it for the extra benefits. The front of the case will have the game development such as DICE and EA since this is one of the most important part

The price for a newly released game like this is about £40 and if you pre-order the game you get extra features that you wont get from just buying from the shops. Pre-order at certain shops and Origin will include the Physical Warfare Pack, giving access  exclusive weapons and items, including a light machine gun, sniper rifle accessory, and armor-piercing ammunition. Also included is launch day access to the DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun, which other players can unlock through game play. Pre-ordering at certain retailers will also provide the Specact Kit Upgrade, the Dog Tag Pack and Battlefield 3 gear for the player's console avatar. Pre-ordering at Origin will give players a shotgun and beret for Battlefield Play4Free, and 48 hour early access to the Battlefield 3 beta which is basically and demo of the game. The distribution of the game will be online for until the release date and once the release date  comes the game will be in every store where games are sold  and this will happen internationally over the world.

The promotion for the game is mainly done by advertising. Adverts of Tv and all over the internet, some of it will also be advertised in magazines like the interviews with the game producers. Game based TV shows will show and do many interviews on the game. Advertisement will also be done by using posters and billboards. For me and most of the players who played the game before this one will realise that the biggest promotion was the end of the game, because it  was a open ending which left you think aww yes! they are going to make another which will be definitely be better than this one

This game is aimed at everyone who is interested in  a more realistic warfare game, with more realistic game play. It is actual aimed at people over the age of 18 but the younger audience will be interested in it and find it just as appealing as the actual target audience. The game developers thought out side the box for this game although their game is just another first person shooter  it was the first to introduce destroying buildings on the game so that practically sold the game for the company.
